A major force in the marketing world for more than 30 years, Jennifer has developed innovative, award-winning and highly profitable programs for clients in virtually every marketing discipline. Her expertise spans consumer package goods, technology, ecommerce, financial services, and B-to-B strategy. She is credited with developing the popular tactic of promotional strategic alliances and has created methodologies that have become the standard for the industry.
Jennifer currently consults several clients includingBonobos, Prudential Life Insurance, Citibank and Walmart, in various areas of marketing including developing digital marketing planning, annual strategic campaign planning, and organizational design and development on a departmental basis.
Prior to this, Jennifer was with Customer Strategies Worldwide, Inc. (CSW), as COO. Jennifer participated in several consulting projects for product and business launches, including strategic positioning and preparation for IPOs. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Advertising for Cablevision, where she created the first centralized internal marketing and advertising department (in-house agency) to service all brands, products and services including Madison Square Garden and Rainbow Media.
Ms. Deare originally founded and ran Deare Marketing, Inc, a $30MM (capitalized billing) agency that became known for its high level of service, strategic planning, and outstanding creative execution. She developed programs for Cointreau, Citibank, American Express, and other blue-chip clients. She sold the original agency in 1997 after 10 years at the forefront of marketing communications. After the sale of Deare Marketing Inc. to N.W. Ayer, Jennifer helped merge the two direct marketing divisions of the newly formed company and set up the new organizational structure including redeployment of several teams to stimulate business growth.
Jennifer attended college in England and returned to the United States to graduate from Montclair State College and has published widely on the subject of marketing and advertising. She is an active speaker, appearing at trade shows and conferences, talking about the development of more effective marketing organizations and practices.
Jennifer has also studies the science of happiness, TM Meditation and is a certified Yoga Instructor.
